I joined the Green Hills team in 2013, without plans of a mortuary career. My considerable passion to help people is what led me to the Grief Recovery Institute. I consider myself a people person, I’m always looking for ways to connect with the families we serve here at Green Hills.
Over the years, as my job evolved, my experiences with grief gave me compassion for grievers and a desire to listen and help them as they heal. As a South Bay native, I enjoy giving back to my community and care for those in need. Everyone experiences some type of loss throughout their life. My purpose is to educate on how to cope with and steer through their journey of moving beyond loss. Providing the tools necessary to help encourage and validate the professional and volunteer communities we interact with daily. Throughout the year I facilitate Grief Recovery Groups and Educational Workshops for our healthcare professionals, volunteers and grievers.
My goal is to be there before, during and after a loss for those in my community.
I enjoy quality time with my family, morning walks, time by the water, and connecting with friends.

Our support groups offer a safe, evidence-based environment for grievers to take effective and lasting action, no matter the type of loss experienced. These groups are led by Grief Recovery Method Specialists, trained and certified by the Grief Recovery Institute.
This program is for people who prefer to work one-on-one rather than in a group setting. The 7-session format utilizes the same proven materials as the group programs and can be completed in-person with a Grief Recovery Method Specialist specifically trained to help people move through loss with dignity and respect.
