Hello, I'm Yolanda. My encounter with the Grief Recovery Method became a pivotal moment when I sought completeness in my relationship with my mother. A diagnosis of Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (DCIS) in my right breast propelled me on a journey toward healing. My counselor and Naturopath/N.A.E.T Practitioner connected this health challenge to unresolved issues with a female authority figure in my life, namely, my mother.
As I embarked on the path to healing, I discovered that the benefits extended beyond reconciling with my mother. The emotional toll of my cancer journey became evident; I had to navigate the complexities of acceptance and self-love as my body underwent significant changes. The impact on my emotional well-being was profound, urging me to confront and understand the depth of my emotional struggles.
Through this transformative experience, I realized the necessity to empower women on a similar journey. Beyond forgiveness, I recognized the importance of embracing one's new self in the face of adversity. My mission now is to inspire and guide women through the process of forgiveness and self-acceptance, acknowledging the emotional intricacies that accompany life-altering experiences such as a cancer diagnosis.
I am passionate about fostering a community where women can find strength, support, and empowerment as they navigate their unique paths of healing. Together, let's embrace the power of forgiveness and self-love in the pursuit of a fulfilling and empowered life.
I provide GRM in Chicagoland and surrounding suburbs.
