Our support groups offer a safe, evidence-based environment for grievers to take effective and lasting action, no matter the type of loss experienced. These groups are led by Grief Recovery Method Specialists, trained and certified by the Grief Recovery Institute.

About The Format

This program can be taught once a week for 8 weeks or twice a week for 4 weeks. There are 2-3 days in between sessions if offered twice a week. Each session is approximately 2 hours long. There is reading and assignments in between sessions. New participants can join on sessions 1 or 2; after session 2 the group is closed. GRM Support Groups are not drop in style groups. All GRM programs are confidential, structured and action oriented.

A Note From The Presenter:

Grief support groups, as well as the individual program, provide a safe and supportive environment to explore long-held beliefs about coping with loss. The group program runs for eight weeks and meets in a structured format based on your availability; it is not a drop-in group.

You’ll learn about many different types of loss and have the opportunity to choose which loss you would like to focus on during the program.

I have had the great privilege to help several people complete the Grief Recovery Method Outreach Program. I specialize in teaching people the tools of Grief Recovery which helps them to break through the challenges that hold them back from realizing their dreams and futures. The tools work!!

In 2008, after finally facing the consequences of hurting those closest to me due to drug use and infidelity, a close friend introduced me to Grief Recovery through my spiritual community. The Outreach Program gave me the structure and tools to heal from my inner wounds. After applying the tools in my personal life for a couple of years, I became a Certified Specialist in 2010.
