The loss of a pet can be emotionally devastating. Sadly, the impact of the heartbreak of this type of loss is often downplayed or ignored by friends and family. This 6-meeting program is focused on offering pet owners an effective mechanism for taking action to move through and beyond their grief.
About The Format
This program is taught in 6 sessions, either once a week for 6 weeks or twice a week for 3 weeks. There are 2-3 days in between sessions if offered twice a week. Each session is approximately 2 hours long. There is reading and assignments in between sessions. GRM Support Groups are not drop in style groups. All GRM programs are confidential, structured and action oriented.
A Note From The Presenter:
Anyone who considers a pet a beloved friend, companion, or family member knows the intense pain that accompanies the loss of that friend. Join us as we learn tools to help cope with that grief, and with the difficult decisions one faces upon the loss of a pet. The Grief Recovery Method® Program provides partnerships and guidance to ensure that it happens. We are often hurt in relationships, but ironically, we also heal in relationships. This group is for you if you are a Pet Parent missing your fur baby.
