The vast majority of parents find themselves at a loss when trying to help their children deal with any grieving experience that impacts them. This 4-week program is designed to teach parents, and others who work with children, the necessary tools to help children effectively deal with their broken hearts, no matter the loss they are facing.

About The Format

This program is taught in four 2.5 hour long sessions offered once a week. There is reading and assignments in between sessions. HCWL Groups are not drop in style groups. All GRM programs are structured and action oriented.

In July 2008, my 18 year old son was severely injured in an automobile accident, living for 10 days in Trauma ICU before dying. At that time, I sought counseling to help me "Get Over It". All the books I read and the sessions I attended still produced an underlying sadness. This lasted for years.

2019 began with a move to a new house, then a 90th birthday party for my Mom on January 5th, the birth of my second grandson on the 25th, and my Mom dying unexpectedly of a heart attack on the 31st. I was just plowing through all that, when I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Breast Cancer in May. June and July brought 2 surgeries and also the loss...
