Our support groups offer a safe, evidence-based environment for grievers to take effective and lasting action, no matter the type of loss experienced. These groups are led by Grief Recovery Method Specialists, trained and certified by the Grief Recovery Institute.
About The Format
This program can be taught once a week for 8 weeks or twice a week for 4 weeks. There are 2-3 days in between sessions if offered twice a week. Each session is approximately 2 hours long. There is reading and assignments in between sessions. New participants can join on sessions 1 or 2; after session 2 the group is closed. GRM Support Groups are not drop in style groups. All GRM programs are confidential, structured and action oriented.
A Note From The Presenter:
You don't have to "do grief" alone.
If you've experienced loss and something inside you still feels unsettled - even though life looks "fine" on the outside - you're not broken.
You may feel numb, flat, unmoored, or disconnected from the person you used to be.
You may understand grief intellectually, yet feel exhausted from trying to feel better on your own.
You may sense there's an emotional weight still living in your body and heart - and you don't know how to release it.
Unresolved grief can be cumulative - shaped by all the losses over a lifetime: death, divorce, illness, identity shifts, dreams that didn't come true,
relationships that changed, financial & career changes, and versions of yourself that were left behind.
These are some of the more than 40+ losses that, if unresolved, can affect your life that you're not even aware of.
When grief isn't fully expressed or completed, emotions don't disappear - they settle into the body and heart.
Over time, this can show up as numbness, exhaustion, self-doubt, accidents, illness, disease, or a sense that you've lost touch with who you are. I don't believe you need to be fixed, rescued, analyzed, or told who to be.
You are your own authority.
What I do is gently guide and support you in becoming aware of what's already inside you - the emotions, beliefs, and patterns
that are asking to be acknowledged so they can finally be released.
I walk with you. I witness you. I listen to you as a "heart with big ears"!
I support you in reconnecting with yourself in a way that feels grounded and safe.
I help you gain peace in your life because if you don't have peace, true peace in your heart, mind, and soul, you'll keep looking outside of yourself to feel better.
The Grief Recovery Method is the key to unlocking the pain stored in your heart.
I look forward to meeting you and walking with you on your grief journey.
