In my work through hospice, I was always looking for education in order to provide the best support for our clients. Choosing the Grief Recovery Method was a surprise blessing. As part of my training, I went through the GRM process myself and was amazed at the results I experienced, as well as what I observed and heard others in the class experiencing.

Although it can be therapeutic, GRM is not therapy; it is information, education and tools, along with the working knowledge of how to apply that to grief. It helps to identify grief, understand the many reactions to grief, examine passive methods that haven't proven successful and introduces better, more accurate tools to use when dealing with the pain of grief and loss. The results are freeing, enlightening and the process can be applied to any type of loss. I have seen outstanding results similar to my own replicated in many others who have been introduced to and practice the Grief Recovery Method process. It truly addresses the heart of your loss and grief.

My husband and I have pastored or worked in ministry for most of our lives. It has been a privilege to be able to stand alongside individuals and families as they have experienced loss and grief and offer them continued support, comfort and hope. My 12 years in hospice allowed me to offer support and comfort to many families as they faced their own journeys with grief. Recently I began serving in a men's life transformation center. With each individual's story, I see the lasting impact and scars of unprocessed grief. I also work in the funeral industry, offering aftercare services to families. Through The Grief Recovery Method, I am thrilled to be able to provide the community valuable tools that, when put into practice, have proven results in moving from grief, towards recovery.
