I now have knowledge on how to help my children cope with their grief, and how to help them through their real feelings! I know what to say in situations OR just sit and listen to their feeling without talking! I learned Not to replace the loss with other things! I am now equipped to help my own children with difficult situations in life that no one seems to want to talk about. I am looking forward to helping my children with the difficulties of life, instead of only looking forward to the happy & good times!

This program exceeded my expectations. I believe we all have grief and this course teaches that being emotional is not only acceptable but important for our health and well-being. Holding on to all our grief is exhausting and relearning a different way to work through and experience it is something we all could benefit from.

Rikki and Sally were phenomenal in their approach. They treated us all with dignity and respect. As scared as I was to share my story I felt safe with this support group. I had no idea I could experience a completion to my unresolved grief until I signed up to learn about the Grief Recovery Method through Huron Hospice. I highly recommend this program.

The Grief Recovery Method has helped me to be more present in my everyday relationships with my husband and kids. It has also changed how I think about forgiveness and the process of moving on from loss.

When I first signed up for the Grief Recovery course, I was apprehensive about sharing with the group, however the facilitator and the content quickly calmed my anxieties which really allowed me to work on and heal the reasons that brought me to say yes to completing this course. I was able to heal from my divorce that happened 15 years ago and I can honestly say now that I have a sense of calm and feel peace with letting go of the grief that I was holding onto and that was holding me back in so many areas of my life. My eyes and heart are open with a renewed sense of love for life! Thank you!!
