I am a recent widow who decided to help others on their way through the fog of grief. The Grief Recovery Method will be a wonderful way for me to help others find their way. The instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful and she made it easy to want to continue on to help others.

I knew that after I experienced my first GRM individual program to work on my grief after the loss of my 9 year old daughter that this was something I wanted to do. The best part about the training is that they not only teach you the concepts of how to guide people through the method, run the classes, market yourself and get running, but you as a specialist get to experience the method yourself. I had the opportunity to experience once before, but others on the training had not. I was able to watch their lives transform over the course of the training and a be a part of the success of another person by participating in the the training. This helped to solidify my desire to go and help others with their grief as well. The training is comprehensive, our trainer Gwen Russo was such a caring and capable specialist and I could feel her compassion for us all. The onboarding call was so valuable to help me plan to get my practice up and running, and the resources in the back office is impressive. Such a great training experience and value we get with the program.

1 hour after finishing training I found myself starting the hospice process for my focus relationship from the weekend. Gwen and my group were an integral part of how I showed up for my kids, my husband and at the hospital yesterday. Talk about a plot twist of my story because I would not have the clarity or grace in dealing with well-meaning people without the tools and information I now have through GRM. It felt like taking a sip from a fire hydrant but it was necessary for me because of the timing and I am so grateful.
