Registration Closed
The vast majority of parents find themselves at a loss when trying to help their children deal with any grieving experience that impacts them. This 4-week program is designed to teach parents, and others who work with children, the necessary tools to help children effectively deal with their broken hearts, no matter the loss they are facing.
About The Format
This program is taught in four 2.5 hour long sessions offered once a week. There is reading and assignments in between sessions. HCWL Groups are not drop in style groups. All GRM programs are structured and action oriented.
A Note From The Presenter:
Helping Children with Loss is a 4 week program for parents, teachers, caregivers and anyone interested in learning how to help children with grief. We use the text "When Children Grieve" for our reading assignments and reference. We will be meeting in person in a small group setting. There will be written homework assignments in addition to the reading that may take 20-30 minutes each week. What is shared in our meetings is confidential and we will be making that commitment to each other at the beginning of each session.
