All GRM programs are confidential, structured and action oriented.

A Note From The Presenter:

Hello Family & Friends!
The Grief Recovery Method is one of the most transformative, evidence-based healing processes that I have ever experienced. This co-ed group is made possible via a partnership with Love Akron and a grant awarded by Summit County ADM Board. The Grief Recovery Method (GRM) class for adult men and women is virtual and begins Wednesday, May 14, 2025. Through this grant funded opportunity, we are able to offer the 8-week class (valued at $395.00 per person) at no cost to registered participants. Our only requirement is that you:

1. Register for the class at LoveAkron.org/grm.
2. Commit to doing the required reading and writing assignments and coming to class prepared.
3. Commit to attending all 8 sessions and on time.
4. Complete the Love Akron pre and post surveys and GRMI evaluations.

That's it! Again. There is limited capacity (12 participants max.) so we urge you to register as soon as possible.
Once you have registered and have been entered into the database, you will receive an email that will outline your next steps.

Feel free to call me if you have questions.

I thought that a college degree in counseling would be more than enough to help me with my personal issues of grief and loss. I even incorporated extra classes to specialize in working with males in general, African-American males in particular, adolescents and people of color. The head knowledge was not enough to help me honestly work through the stuffed and repressed emotional realities of my many unaddressed pain, necessary to heal my heart. After the deaths of...
