The Grief Recovery Method helped me address losses from my past, especially the tremendous pain of my mother's death. I felt the loss of her nurture and our close relationship when she died from breast cancer. Despite the immediate sense of relief I felt because she was no longer suffering, the impact of her absence was a deeply heart-wrenching experience.

The program helped me identify the impact of the loss of my mother, deaths of friends in combat, and other losses in life--and complete the grieving process. My losses will never go away, but I've made giant steps toward cherishing my loved ones and relieving the pain.

* ABOUT ME *
I have been an ordained minister and chaplain for over 21 years. My experience includes serving as a pastor, a college minister, a U.S. Army chaplain, a high school teacher, a nonprofit ministry leader, and a chaplain to military veterans. I maintain board certifications with national chaplaincy professional standards organizations, with a specialty in palliative care and hospice. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama and a Master of Divinity from Samford University.
