Leslie Amundson is an occupational therapist in Edmonton, Alberta. One of her duties at her current job was to provide grief support for seniors in the community. She discovered the Grief Recovery Method while researching the many different types of support available, and was very drawn to the practicality of the Program. Leslie discovered life changing results after working through one of her significant losses during the Grief Recovery Specialist training. Leslie has experienced losses through loss of pets, frequent moves, estrangement, divorce and death. She appreciates the effectiveness of the Grief Recovery Method in completing the broad spectrum of losses that may be experienced.
Leslie is a certified Grief Recovery Specialist, Advanced Specialist and Helping Children with Loss Specialist. She has facilitated several one to one and small group sessions and is deeply motivated to continue this service.
