Hi there. My name is Nicole Groom and I am blessed to serve others as a certified Advanced Grief Recovery Method Specialist in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. As a result of completing the Advanced Online Grief Recovery program, I am also now able to help people all over the world via Zoom.

Having experienced a tremendous amount of grief due to many losses in my own life, with very few people to walk through it/them with me, it would be a great honor and privilege to walk side-by-side with you through yours. Even though this program is not faith-based, this is very much a Spirit-led calling of mine. I believe wholeheartedly that we go through certain experiences to help others... and I want to help you.

In 2021, I moved back home to Grand Rapids after spending the past 22 years in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. I left the following: my 20-year old daughter (who is very supportive), my successful private practice (going on 14 years specializing in something else), and everything else I've known all those years. Back in 2016, my dad was involved in a high-profile hit-and-run accident while bicycling, and died nine days later. The driver was found and I spent 1.5 years dealing with everything up to a trial. His sudden and traumatic death was the most devastating thing I've experienced thus far. That's a lot of losses in only four years time, excluding others; however, what I learned personally through doing The Grief Recovery Method at my previous church, is that "recovery" is truly possible with this program. Not only that, but now I have the tools needed to deal with any future losses!
