Greetings, my name is Pauletta Hatchett and I'd like to introduce myself as a person who is very acquainted with lived experiences of grief, pain, loss, death, and sorrow. My life's journey was filled with many grief experiences including death of parents and a sibling, changes from having excellent health to experiencing a stroke, loss of marriage and going through a difficult divorce, and going through disillusionment and grief in the workplace, At times, grief seemed to overwhelm and overtake me and contributed to me getting "stuck" emotionally. If not for the grace of God, having people walking with me during tough times and making a decision to get help and support, I would not have been able to make it. By "doing the hard work of grief," and yielding my life to the process of lifestyle changes, I was able to find healing, peace, comfort, and have matters settled in my heart so that I could begin to really live!

I am also a Board Certified Mental Health Coach, Senior Chaplain, Community Health Ambassador, Certified Personal Trainer, and Director of a non-profit organization. Some targeted people/groups that I have great passion, experience, and empathy to support are: (not limited to)

- Adults who experienced grief from childhood trauma and violence
- People who have lost their homes, jobs, or finances and must start over
- Death of parents, siblings, loved ones, friends, or a family pet
- Helping people grieve through their end-of-life passage
- Prisoners who experience grief while being incarcerated
- Grief and depression from the death of a child or having a premature baby
- People suffering with chronic disease, debilitating health, or disabilities
- Loss experiences connected to relocations and geographic moves
- People who have walked through divorce and loss of relationships
- Workplace Grief
- Dealing with grief and offense in the Church
- Equipping parents and teachers to help children grieve
- Grief and loss during the pandemic

Wherever life brings you to, I have found the Grief Recovery Method to be "a tool for reaching deeply under the surface of grief and pain by bringing those issues above the surface, so that emotional healing occurs and life can be lived in the present." As you walk through the process, know that help, comfort, healing, and restoration are available to you. My hope and prayer is that you will make it through to other side of the grief to a new day and hope of a bright future.

For your convenience, I can facilitate Grief Recovery virtually on Zoom for groups or one-on-one; or holding in-person small groups or one-on-one sessions. You may register on this GRM website and then pay for registration using credit card, debit card, PayPal, Zelle, or CashApp; or you may pay for in-person workshops by check. Throughout the year, I also offer free open seminars related to grief that are good for general knowledge and particularly, if you are in a helping people profession.

If I may be of service to you as a Certified Grief Recovery Support Specialist, please contact me at [email protected] or at 330-737-1701
