We all have a story to tell and a portion of our story deals with grieving the loss of a loved one, the loss of a job, the loss of a relationship or a combination of the many types of loss we deal with in life. Have you experienced that grief hinders your ability to think and often function in life? In my personal experience with loss , I became an expert at keeping busy, exercising and isolating myself from others in an effort to avoid feeling emotional pain. Over time, these tactics had a more negative impact on my life than positive. My heart grew cold and bitter which impacted my family, friends, career and health. When I went through the Grief Recovery Method it showed me how to complete what I had left undone with my losses. Being able to experience more completion around my losses helped me to have a greater sense of joy and healing in my life. Completing my losses has also helped me become a better husband, father and friend. I feel happier and have a greater peace within that allows me to cherish the gift of life. It is now my privilege and honor to take grievers through the Grief Recovery Method so they can experience the same healing and completion around their losses that I have experienced.
