Hey you! I appreciate you stopping by and your interest to get know me!
One thing that I have learned in my human experience is that grief is impartial and has no boundaries. As humans, we are all subjected to loss, that is not limited to death. I was first introduced to the six types of losses (material, relationship, intrapsychic, functional, role, and systemic loss) by Kenneth R. Mitchell and Herbert Anderson, who wrote a book called All Our Losses All Our Griefs. After reading this book, I felt validated in my experiences of the loss of my relationship with my mother who is still alive, and the loss of my marriage with my ex-husband through a divorce. From there, I found the courage to confront and transform my grief by enrolling in the Grief Recovery Method. My coach cultivated a safe space for me to address my wounded heart and experience soul recovery. Now, it is my turn to pay it forward as a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist. I am also an experienced Chaplain and pursuing licensure as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Addiction Specialist. I said all that to say, the Grief Recovery Method is one of the greatest tool I’ve come across that uncovers hidden wounds, clean them out, and restore them back to health.
I look forward to walking out of grief and into a new life!
