About The Format

This program can be taught once a week for 8 weeks or twice a week for 4 weeks. There are 2-3 days in between sessions if offered twice a week. Each session is approximately 2 hours long. There is reading and assignments in between sessions. New participants can join on sessions 1 or 2; after session 2 the group is closed. GRM Support Groups are not drop in style groups. All GRM programs are confidential, structured and action oriented.

A Note From The Presenter:

There are over 40 types of losses that can result in unresolved grief: moving, job loss, graduation, death of a person or pet, divorce, marriage, birth of the first child, a change in financial standing, and the intangible losses (innocence, faith, safety, control, hopes/dreams/ expectations). The Grief Recovery Method (GRM) shows us the steps we can take to discover where we were left incomplete, and how to move on with a settled heart and mind.

The next 8-week session of the GRM Support Group begins January 22nd in Moraga, CA and meets for 8 Monday evenings through Mar 25th (we skip 2/25 and 3/4). This is not a drop-in group, but rather an action-based program with important learning and sharing each week; your attendance each week is critical to your recovery work. So check your calendar first to see if you can attend all 8 sessions, before registering.

We'll work together to understand why what we've been taught about grief and loss doesn't really help us heal. Then we'll learn how to become complete regarding a loss we've each experienced, and reclaim energy and joy for living in the moment and going after the life goals that are important to us.
A bonus takeaway is that you'll learn how to listen with your heart instead of your head to other grievers in your life. This can dramatically improve your relationships by arming you with the kind of listening skills needed in modern relationships.

Program: $1,440 for 16 service hours, a copy of our handbook, six worksheets, and access to private consultations with me in between sessions (as needed).
Reserve your seat with a deposit of $720.
