Our support groups offer a safe, evidence-based environment for grievers to take effective and lasting action, no matter the type of loss experienced. These groups are led by Grief Recovery Method Specialists, trained and certified by the Grief Recovery Institute.

About The Format

This program can be taught once a week for 8 weeks or twice a week for 4 weeks. There are 2-3 days in between sessions if offered twice a week. Each session is approximately 2 hours long. There is reading and assignments in between sessions. New participants can join on sessions 1 or 2; after session 2 the group is closed. GRM Support Groups are not drop in style groups. All GRM programs are confidential, structured and action oriented.

A structured grief recovery group for adults who want guided support in a quiet, respectful setting.
Groups offer a calm place to work through grief alongside others who are also navigating loss.
This group is designed for women experiencing grief related to death, divorce, estrangement, betrayal, financial loss, or major life disruption.
​Group size is limited to 8 participants so the space can remain thoughtful, grounded, and respectful.

LuAnn Collins, Ph.D., MSIT, is a Certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist, educator, and coach who works with adults navigating loss, life transitions, and relationship grief.

Having experienced significant personal losses and major life transitions herself, LuAnn understands the impact grief can have on every area of life. She also understands that grief is not limited to death. Divorce, estrangement, betrayal, financial loss, caregiving responsibilities, changing relationships, and unexpected life disruptions can leave people feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and unsure how to move forward.

LuAnn is especially passionate about supporting individuals experiencing relationship loss and life transitions. Her approach is calm, compassionate, and practical, creating a safe space for people to address unresolved grief and move toward greater peace, clarity, and hope for the future....
