As a college professor and Internal Family Systems informed coach, I have long been committed to helping people identify, reframe, understand, and heal their negative emotions and limiting beliefs.

When the COVID-19 pandemic stretched into the second year, I noticed students’ and colleagues' unparalleled grief as many of the plans they had were cancelled, and many of the futures they imagined for themselves disappeared.

At the same time, I experienced a number of my own losses, including some related to friendships, family members, job challenges, and my parents’ declining physical health.

I didn’t think I had any grief issues — my parents were ailing, but they hadn’t died! However, on a recommendation from a friend, I started the Grief Recovery Method. It was only then I realized I had a LOT of grief, some of which I had been carrying around since childhood and had been coloring my interpretations of the world and even diminishing my capacity to experience joy and abundance.

I was shocked when I came across this work. There is so much wisdom and effectiveness in the GRM method, teaching us to recognize when we are grieving, identifying those places where we we’re still carrying grief, and demonstrating how to actually resolve those debilitating feelings to get ourselves back on track.

What I truly love about the GRM approach is that if clients have worked through it once, they have the tools to do the work every time a new grief arises, even after our time working together is complete.

I look forward to walking alongside you on your healing journey.
