I came to the Grief Recovery Method after the death of my daughter in 2017. Two years earlier, my mother died and then a few months later, my younger brother. In addition, there was the loss of my beloved cat.
For over forty years, I have engaged in daily meditation practice and have trained in various spiritual traditions. In addition to earning a Master's Degree in Oriental Studies, I became a certified Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation teacher. I have taught meditation and yoga in spiritual centers, schools, and prisons, both individually and in groups, and have also maintained a private counseling practice. Having worked with many people, I have seen that we human beings have a wonderful capacity to transform suffering into inner growth.
Those experiences helped me deal with my different losses, but the death of my daughter was the hardest of all and I realized that I needed additional support with my overwhelming pain. That's when I came across the Grief Recovery Method. Having gone through the program, I experienced directly a transformation that I would not have thought possible.
Today I feel empowered, both by my life and by my training, to help those who are grieving. We are all grievers. And we can all be healed and grow stronger through our grief. We can see that life has a deep meaning, and, yes, we can feel joy again.
My office is in Sudbury, MA, where I meet with people both individually and in small groups. As an Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist I also provide online one-on-one sessions.

This program is for people who prefer to work one-on-one rather than in a group setting. The 7-session format utilizes the same proven materials as the group programs and can be completed in-person with a Grief Recovery Method Specialist specifically trained to help people move through loss with dignity and respect.
