I trained in 2016 and qualified as an Advanced Certified Grief Recovery Specialist in 2020 - I am qualified to deliver all modalities of the GRM ( including the Pet Loss programme) though most of my work is 1:1 in person from my home in Hereford. I have supported many clients online internationally too. I also deliver the eye-opening Helping Children With Loss training, a must for anyone who cares for or works with children.
Initially I trained as a CGRS to increase the support I could offer customers who commissioned Bespoke Cloth Keepsakes from me. Ever since my dear friend died back in 2009 I have been making these cherished pieces, that hold on to the treasured memories held within the cloth/clothes of a loved one.
Previously my career was in teaching; I taught art at our local art college to students 17years plus between the years 2000-2011. During that time and since I have delivered additional Grief & Art Workshops in schools.
I am a senior membership of ACCPH.
As an artist (I have an art degree - BA Hons in Design Crafts) I love to express my own creativity and over the last few years I have frequently observed that within my work the essence of loss is encompassed somewhere.
I still enjoy exhibiting.
