Greetings Beloved, I am G Felicia, On June 10, 2020, my mother died in in my living room, during the pandemic. Due to COVID restrictions, a funeral service was not allowed. There was no structure for mourning, no coming together of family, friends and acquaintances to share stories or common bonds with me. I also felt like I was doing a dis-service to my mother because I was not able to have a traditional service. I had my three children, but they were also grieving and if anything, they were looking to me for support.
I had heard of The Grief Recovery Method many years ago, but I, like perhaps yourself, chose more traditional routes-general counseling, prayer and simply suppressing and ignoring my pain but they were not working. These methods for me were short-lived and my grief began to compound and manifest itself in other undesirable ways. Poor eating, too much wine and poor relationship choices.
Finally, I tried Grief Recovery Method- It is like a veil was removed from my eyes! I now have real concepts and tangible tools to help me heal as well as be accountable and I am better equipped to recognize and deal with all my losses-everything from my career ending on-the-job injury, to divorce after 22 years of marriage, to the loss of my endeared Jack Russell terrier -BRUTUS…. all losses and all GRIEF! And I firmly believe GRM can help you with whatever loss you have experienced, too. It would be my honor to build a trusting relationship with you and offer you a proven and effective way to process your losses and grief. I will be there for you, Heart2Heart.
