Hello! My name is Jess. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I am an Advanced Certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist. I am bilingual in English and Spanish (hablo Español).

Following the death of my father in 2019, I had limited resources to help process what had happened and how to deal with it all, despite being in the mental health field and experiencing previous losses. Intellectually I knew the facts and what I “should be doing”, but emotionally I was a wreck. Later that year, a coworker introduced me to the Grief Recovery Method and how powerful the program is in helping people. It wasn’t until Fall 2021 that I could go through the program myself and be trained to help others. Right before the training started, our family dog, Onix, passed away at the age of 12 years old. Our family was devastated and heartbroken. After working through the Grief Recovery Method, I feel much more knowledgeable, empowered, and at peace with the process of grieving. I am now passionate about helping others experience the same healing and recovery.

I am based in Connecticut and can work virtually with individuals nationwide.
