Thank you for visiting my site. I live in Torbay Auckland New Zealand near the beach. I came to the Grief Recovery Method (GRM) when I found myself having vivid flash backs and not being able to sleep after my mother died. She had been in hospital level care for 7 months which felt like torture to me as I visited her most days. After doing a GRM workshop, over a number of weeks, I found I slept well and had such fond memories of my Mum! It was transforming!! I then trained to become a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist. I believe there is so much loss in our world today especially with Covid19. I love to work with women who have had losses in their lives that are impacting their health and well being. I know that this action education method has the power to transform our relationship with all forms of loss, the death of a loved one, or not so loved one, a breakdown of any relationship, the loss of a pet or a move, the loss of freedom or travel or family or finance because of Covid19. The 7-session format utilizes the same proven materials as the group programs and can be completed in-person with a Grief Recovery Method Specialist specifically trained to help people move through loss with dignity and respect.
