My name is Mario Andrade. What brought me to the GRM was an unexpected divorce. My divorce was one of the most challenging and life changing events I’ve ever experienced, but it was also one of the best things that happened to me. Despite the heartache it caused, I came out the other end changed for the better.
During my divorce I was seeing a grief counselor which really helped. I was provided with a safe and non-judgmental place where I was able to open up about all my emotional pain. It was after this that I had a desire to fulfill my long time dream of helping those that are grieving, and that is when I stumbled upon the Grief Recovery Method Certification training. I took a step forward towards that dream and signed up. I started the training not sure of what to expect. To my surprise, I learned of the emotional baggage I've carried from significant losses, and I realized that I brought that baggage into every one of my romantic relationships.
This training has changed how I now approach grief and loss for not only myself but also for others. So if you’re looking for a safe place to share your grief, for whatever loss you’ve experienced, without judgment or criticism, then I am here to help. If you’re looking for a proven method to help you recover from your grief, then this program will do just that. I will personally work with you in discovering and completing whatever emotions you've left unresolved experiencing your loss. I will walk with you and ensure that you make it to the other side of grief recovery. You do not have to grieve alone; it'd be my privilege to guide you.
Currently, I only offer the GRM as a one-on-one, in person, format in Texas City, Texas and in the surrounding cities of Galveston County.
Along with being a GRM Specialist, I am also a Licensed Chaplain, and have certifications as a Health Coach and Life Coach. I have a bachelor’s degree in theology, and I am also a US Army veteran, who's served with the 101st Airborne Division, as a Non Commissioned Officer.
