As an Advanced Grief Recovery Method Specialist and a highly experienced Trauma-Informed educator and Clinical Counsellor, I serve Vancouver, Canada and work with many clients worldwide using video conferencing.
My grief story began early. At age 7, I experienced the devastating death of my mother and subsequent life in a family torn by incomplete grief. Decades later, my heart filled with doubt, I was introduced to GRM. “Can it be possible to take specific actions that help us in such pain?”
Now I shout a resounding YES! I am forever grateful to the Grief Recovery Method for both helping me personally AND teaching me to effectively walk with empathy beside grievers, teaching and enabling them to become complete with their unprocessed emotions and return to a meaningful life.
My early experiences led me to my special interest in helping those who have lost a parent though death or through life-altering or life-threatening physical/mental illness.

After graduating from Harding University in the USA with a B.A. in Special Education, I completed courses in pastoral counselling. I was privileged to work with families in a multinational faith community for 26 years. I've been a counsellor since 2008, transitioning in 2016 to full time teaching, training and counselling.
I am a Clinical Counsellor with the Canadian Professional Counsellor’s Association (https://www.cpca-rpc.ca/). (CPCA #2177) Registered Professional Counsellor.

This program is for people who prefer to work one-on-one rather than in a group setting. The 7-session format utilizes the same proven materials as the group programs and can be completed in-person or online with a Grief Recovery Method Specialist specifically trained to help people move through loss with dignity and respect.
