Hello, I can only imagine the grief you feel that led you to this website.
My name is Sarabeth and I am a Registered Professional Counsellor (RPC, Canada) and an Advanced Grief Recovery Method Specialist. I service Vancouver, Canada and work with online clients from Alaska to Boston, Switzerland, France, Hong Kong and the Philippines.
My grief story begins very early in my life. At age 7, I experienced the devastating death of my mother and subsequent life in a family torn by incomplete grief. When I was introduced to GRM many years ago, I thought “Can it be possible to take specific actions that help us in such pain?” I shout a resounding YES! I am forever grateful to the Grief Recovery Method for both helping me personally AND teaching me to walk with empathy beside grievers, teaching and enabling them to become complete with their unprocessed emotions and return to a meaningful life.
My early experiences led me to work especially with people who have lost a supportive parental relationship though death, chronic or life threatening physical illness or mental illness. Recently I have become involved with foster parents as every foster placement begins with the loss of a parent. I volunteer at youth camps, introducing teens to the power and possibility of healing their broken hearts.
After graduating from Harding University in the USA with a B.A. in Special Education, I completed courses in pastoral counselling and was privileged to work with families in a multinational faith community for 26 years. I have been a counsellor since 2008 and in November 2016 earned the designation Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling (MPCC) and transitioned into full time teaching, training and counselling. I am a registered counsellor with the Canadian Professional Counsellor’s Association (https://www.cpca-rpc.ca/).
I offer you a warm welcome to contact me for a FREE consultation. But whatever you decide I wish you well on your healing journey.
