Greetings, I’m here for you! My name is Vanessa Terry Nichols, and I take great pride in being a Grief Recovery Method Specialist. After a tragic loss in my family, I was invited to a Grief Recovery Method Community Talk. I was so impressed with the information; that I mustered the courage and strength to try it. The Grief Recovery Method helped me through several losses over the past twenty-one years, and I continue to utilize what I have gained through the Grief Recovery Method personally. I became a Grief Recovery Method Specialist in 2003, and have helped several people heal their broken hearts. Since the recent COVID-19 Pandemic more than ever the Grief Recovery Method is needed, so I am dedicated to assisting grievers to recover from loss, and live their best lives! My services are accessible online for your convenience or in person.
I am a highly qualified educator in the state of Ohio. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Central State University and completed my Master of Arts degree in Educational Theory and Practice, from The Ohio State University.

Open Seminar Events
This program is for people who prefer to work one-on-one rather than in a group setting. The 7-session format utilizes the same proven materials as the group programs and can be completed in-person or online with a Grief Recovery Method Specialist specifically trained to help people move through loss with dignity and respect.
Our support groups offer a safe, evidence-based environment for grievers to take effective and lasting action, no matter the type of loss experienced. These groups are led by Grief Recovery Method Specialists, trained and certified by the Grief Recovery Institute.
