Hi. My name is Ed Nichols. My wife and I live in beautiful Wayne County, Ohio. My grief recovery journey began a few years after a suicide death in our family. A hospital chaplain who attended our church led me through the Grief Recovery Method and I was able to begin to complete the relationship with the person who died. After seeing the impact in my own life, I trained at the same hospital to become a Grief Recovery Specialist and later completed ACPE training as a level one chaplain.
I offer the Grief Recovery Method at the campus of Life Ministries in Rittman, Ohio. I also offer Prepare/Enrich marriage and engagement assessments and counseling.
I am the lead pastor of Life Ministries in Rittman, Ohio as well as a college instructor at Purpose Institute based in Canton, Ohio. I received a Bachelor's of Theology Degree at Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, MN. I received my ordination under the Ohio District of the United Pentecostal Church in 1988. I am a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor under the American Association of Christian Counselors. Our local congregation has sent me to preach, teach, and train in Thailand, India, Tanzania, and Ethiopia. I am also part of team that travels to Guatemala to administrate networking and computer equipment for the Bible Colleges and Orphanage in that region.
