Hello, My name is Zelda, I am originally from Ireland but have lived on the Isle of Man for over 35 years. I have worked in the Health and Social Care field for over 30 years. I trained as a Nursery Nurse working with pre- school children and later worked with children, teenagers and adults with learning disabilities and the elderly. In my field of work, I often felt unprepared when people opened up about their losses. In 2007 I lost my sister which had a huge impact on my life, I participated in counselling afterwards, however nothing seem to reach the mark. I wanted to recover from my loss and the "recovery" in the GRM gave me hope. I found a wonderful lady who took me through the programme. After my first completion, I realised I had a lot of unresolved grief from my childhood, Some of the losses I experienced were my father having a stroke and later dying, my sister moving to live in another part of the country. My granny developing dementia and moving into a nursing home. Currently I can provide GRM on a one to one basis. In the future I am hoping to work with people in groups and online. I can also offer GRM for Pet loss and GRM for adults or parents to help children with grief. Due to my qualifications in NVQ 1 and 2. I can also work with children and teenagers and I hold an enhanced DBS. If you think you would like to work with me. Please contact me and let us have a chat.
