Hi, a little about myself,

Certified in 2004 as a Grief Recovery Method Specialist, I personally went through the Grief Recovery Method in 2003 because my life was totally unmanageable. Going through a painful divorce, being codependent and dealing with family addiction created many challenges and struggles, not only for myself but also for my children and career. I learned that if our incomplete loss is not dealt with, it will make it difficult to move on. The Grief Recovery Method transformed my life to a more loving, open and healthier me. Being an Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist gave me the privilege, not only to deal with several significant losses of my own and move forward and also to help others heal their broken hearts. 

For the last 18 years, I have guided clients with a compassionate heart through the process of Grief Recovery Method helping them to move beyond their own pain. I have experience in helping Grievers with their losses related to codependency, addictions such as drugs or alcohol, loss of trust, loss of a career, financial loss, loss of childhood, relationships, and loss due to a death plus many more losses. 

My professional self includes 35 years in the corporate world, and a Certified Life Coach, and NLP Practitioner. Being recently retired (which can be a loss as well), gives me more time to focus on helping Grievers take the actions of The Grief Recovery Method. I am a member of Al-Anon since 1998; Al-Anon is a 12- Step support group for families and friends of alcoholics. I'm also a member of CODA (Codependents Anonymous). In addition, since 2003 I serve as a Regional Alumni Family Volunteer for Hazelden Betty Ford Centre for the Toronto Chapter. Since 2011 once a month, in love and service, as a volunteer I go into the Toronto Detention Jail to provide 12-step meetings and Grief Recovery to the inmates.  

I am a facilitator for The Women's Centre of York Region, I  empower women to find their strength through personal journey of discovery, who are in need of positive change to fully thrive . 

Located in Vaughan, Ontario Canada I currently provide these Grief Recovery Method Programs:  In Person and Online One-on-One and Group Support, Pet Loss, and Helping Children Deal with Loss (HCWL).

I truly feel blessed by The Grief Recovery Method work and my accomplishments; the challenges and hard times have brought me to where I am today - to a fuller, more enriched life than I could have ever imagined.
