I have a passion for assisting people to mark, celebrate and move through life events. This is especially so when it comes to end of life transitions and recovering from loss.
My journey to this passion included loosing a beloved pet as a young child, the death of neighbor when I was young, as well as loosing all of my grand parents and both of my parents by the time I was 31. Additionally, my 47 years as a nurse gave me many opportunities to help patients and their family through those last moments of life and the immediate grief experience .
My own experiences and my interactions with others experiencing grief then put me on a path of looking for ways to cope with or resolve grief and loss issues. This search eventually led me to the Grief Recovery Method. Of all the grief interventions I have tried, I found this one the most helpful.
I offer in person 1:1 or group Grief Recovery Programs, Helping Children with Loss, and Pet Loss Support Group. I am located in the northwest area of the lower peninsula of Michigan - Ludington, Michigan area.
