You’re taking the first steps in your recovery journey, and I’m grateful you’re here. My name is Camille, and I am a Certified Bereavement Facilitator and Grief Recovery Specialist with a background in Hospice and Palliative Care. I’ve spent nearly ten years supporting individuals and families through grief, loss, and life transitions. Before that, I worked in state preschool programs, teaching and helping run early‑education classrooms. Serving and teaching others has always been at the center of my life.
But you didn’t come here to learn about my résumé.
You’re here because you’re navigating a loss—or you’re seeking resources for yourself, someone you care about, or your organization. And you’re right: learning about grief in a classroom is very different from living it.
I’ve experienced many forms of loss throughout my life, but nothing reshaped me more than losing a close loved one—my future with him—to a motorcycle accident in February 2022. That loss changed everything: how I see grief, how I understand healing, and how I walk with others through their pain.
The Grief Recovery Method helped me find my way through the darkness. It showed me that healing is possible, that peace and acceptance can return, and that there is light on the other side. We just have to allow ourselves to feel and heal.
