I was living in such a deep turmoil of conflicting emotions around estrangement from family members and the death of my Dad, alongside a succession of other painful life losses. Unresolved grief was heavily accumulating inside me. Yet my one strategy, as so many of us have also mis-learned, was simply to ‘suck it in and soldier on.’ A tipping point came and I very nearly lost my sanity.
