Hello, I’m Sheila and I’m glad you’re here!
Grief is a natural response to loss that we all experience, yet everyone’s grief is as unique as each individual person and situation.
After my adult son died, I found myself needing more than friends, family, or even my very effective therapist could provide. While participating in a local grief support group, the leader recommended the Grief Recovery Method Handbook; and I subsequently signed up for the group process and got certified to support others.
The reason I’m glad you’re here is because I want to support you in finding what I found, but in your own unique application of the method. Ultimately, I found the ability to experience the depths of my sorrow and the heights of my joy. Yes, both can be present in the grieving mother’s heart.
I’m happy to have a conversation about this approach and answer any questions you may have. Let’s get started with an email note.
Gratefully,
Sheila
