Hi, I’m Michelle — and I’m so glad you found me.
I currently call West Point, NY home. As a military spouse, this is my third time living in the beautiful Hudson Valley. Originally from Ohio, I’ve had the privilege of living across the U.S. and in England. In 2022, when I faced yet another move and the heartbreak of leaving my community behind, I was introduced to The Grief Recovery Method through a friend’s Facebook post. Working through the 8-week program with my specialist became one of the most healing and transformative steps I’ve ever taken—and it inspired me to help others find that same sense of relief and freedom.
As a certified Grief Recovery Specialist, I’ve walked through many forms of loss—the death of my mother at ten years old, my father to ALS, experiencing miscarriages, deployments, adoption challenges, rejection, unmet dreams, loss of relationships, health complications following a hysterectomy and double mastectomy, pet loss, and countless goodbyes through military moves. For me, grief often showed up as anger, exhaustion, and confusion. I’m deeply grateful to have found a way forward through The Grief Recovery Method, which offers hope, guidance, and a clear path toward emotional healing.
I warmly invite you to join me for Grief Recovery sessions—either one-on-one (7 weekly sessions) or in a small group setting (8 weekly sessions or 4 bi-weekly sessions). This action-oriented program provides practical steps, compassionate support, and a safe space to process the pain of any kind of loss.
