I wish I had a group like this to heal my grief 14 years ago. Now that I've experienced one like it, I feel inspired and motivated to see how I can bring this work into my communities! Sandi is an exceptional speaker who engaged, supported, and encouraged each and every one of us. She has tremendous knowledge and expertise on the subject as well as on marketing--two huge bonuses for those of us trying to get out there to create opportunities to reduce isolation and pain while promote healing and connection! I think what would have helped is to encourage us to take bio breaks as needed outside of the designated breaks since the trainings can be quite long! I haven't poked around in the portal yet, but I think it would be helpful to know at the beginning of the training whether or not the slides would be shared with us. Sandi did let us know that we can take screenshots, but having the slides would make things a lot easier and would have helped me be more present. Thank you again for an unforgettable experience. I am so grateful to be able to experience this depth of recovery and look forward to even more.

The grief recovery method training put into perspective for me how grief is the foundation on which we are raised upon. Going through this training has lifted me, removed years of boulders and rocks I didn't believe ever could be removed. Today, I am lighter and can breathe better. My heart feels clearer.

When I lost my son there was absolutely no type of support anywhere for me someone referred me to the grief recovery method support group in my experience there instantly inspired me to want to be a bigger part of spreading this type of help. Coming to the 4-day certification and being taught by Sandy Derby I am a better woman I am a better grief specialist because of it I would absolutely recommend this to everyone

I cannot begin to express how this 4-day extravaganza of learning, healing, heart-sharing & heart-witnessing has transformed my perspective, my self, and my body, but I'll do my best to convey what I can. Sandi is hands-down amazing, one-of-a-kind, and highly skilled in this arena, and her skillset paired with your marketing strategies has made it quite clear to me that I'm strongly called to become a successful GRM Specialist. I shared with Sandi at the end of the training in our goodbye speeches, that I'm a 96% introvert who begrudgingly registered for this group training (because my human dislikes group work and break-out rooms, and I'm so glad I listened to my knowing in signing up for this because Sandi sharing her story in the way she did, from the heart and yet not at all anesthetized, spoke to me in a big way. I've been struggling to find & land my calling since I retired from holistic physio and closed my practice due to burn-out and compassion fatigue, and I realized very quickly from listening to Sandi's story that that I was intuitively or spiritually called to register for this training because this is my calling. The group format was highly valuable in learning & relating to others, and offered a breadth & depth I wouldn't have ever reached doing this entirely on my own. I'm excited to complete the online certification and weave this training into my website & current caseload. Sandi is an inspiration - her story parallels mine in a lot of ways, and while we both have our own unique experiences, visions, & knowledge, it was incredibly valuable for me to see someone on the other side of the hard life living their dream.

I participated in this training because I am grieving my dog who died last year but at the end I worked my unresolved grief related to my father. I wasn't expecting that, but the truth is that when my dog died, I realized that he was fathering me. My dog made me feel safe in a way that I guess daughters feel with their dads. I never had a dad, as my father has always been absent. We don't speak since more than 12 years ago, and this was my decision but I have issues with anger management and reactivity which I now hope that have been resolved thanks to the completion that I went through. I can't wait to find the time and energy a.s.a.p to work on more relationships of mine through the method. I already feel lighter and I hope that I will feel even more lighter after working the other relationships.

It was a truly intense and emotional 4 days. Sandi is an incredible teacher and support. She helped create a safe space for all of us. I have high praise for the Grief Recovery Method training for its intensive and hands-on approach to healing grief. Through Sandi's amazing training, I learned not only about my own personal healing, but I am now equipped with the tools to help others. I was most impressed that the training effectively addressed various types of loss, from dealing with death to relationship breakdowns, to career setbacks.
