My husband passed away on August 12, 2019. In January of 2020 I realized that I need help with my grieving. I asked friends, searched churches, and even the internet. At first, I couldn't find anywhere that specifically dealt with grief counseling in my area. I started to give up. But I searched the internet again and I found Sandy. We first met in person (pre-covid) and immediately I felt comfortable in her presence. She was very transparent and very sincere. I was really interesting in the method of counseling that was offered-therapy and reading the book with homework included. I just finished my sessions this past Tuesday and I must say that because of Sandy, I am now much better. I realized that sitting in my grief and going through the grieving process was what I needed to help me. ‘She guided me through the process and I came out on the other side. I am so excited to begin my “new normal” and I want to help other with their grief by joining The Grief Recovery Team. Tisa

I came to the Grief Recovery Method Certification Training from an academic perspective, not thinking I had grief of my own to work on. Little did I know! The training was enlightening both personally and professionally. My instructor, Sandi, was experienced and so engaging and informative. I really felt like she wanted us all to succeed. It was a life changing 4 days!

Grief Recovery Method is one of the best choices I have ever made! I feel like I got my brains back. Plus my physical health. I have so much focus now too.I highly recommend this course or at the very least getting the book. I had a wonderful trainer and group that I trained with.

Sandi is an amazing instructor who knows just how to delicately hold space at all the right times. This is surely some of the hardest and also, some of the "worthiest" work you'll ever do. Upon completion of working The Grief Recovey method I knew I needed to do more with the program. However, I needed to finish other commitments - retire from coorperate healthcare and move to another state. Now, having completed the training, which was professional and heart felt all at once I am more convinced this is the right direction for me!
