Kerry has served as a healthcare chaplain at Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Western Kentucky since 1998. His duties includes providing significant bereavement care in the hospital, nursing home and hospice settings where death and grief occur on a regular basis for patients, families and staff. After providing grief support to individuals and groups for several years, he began to search for bereavement resources that would provide long term tools that he and his clients could use. In 2007 Kerry discovered the Grief Recovery Outreach method created by the Grief Recovery Institute. Implementing this program has allowed Kerry to help over 150 individuals make significant steps by completing essential work in major losses in their lives. Kerry and fellow colleagues provide opportunities to join a grief recovery outreach group several times a year as well as one on one focus as their schedule permits. You are welcome to contact him via phone or e-mail and explore the opportunity of personal and emotional recovery for the grief that has affected you.
