Thank you for being here and welcome. I have worked in the Social Work field, primarily in nursing homes and elder service organizations for over 30 years. In the last 6 years I have been working in Hospice care, both in social work and bereavement. As a Bereavement Coordinator I was facilitating groups and meeting with people who had experienced a wide variety of loss. I was constantly looking for something that would help grievers in their healing. Nothing felt like it was helping. Then I stumbled upon the Grief Recovery method and I knew immediately that this was exactly what I was looking for. I had not expected so much personal growth in addition to finding a way to help people heal from the pain associated with their losses.
I provide one-on-one in person and group services in the Berkshires and Franklin County Massachusetts. I have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and a Master's in Gerontology/Management of Aging Services. Through Hospice, I provide support to patients and families at end of life and bereavement support following their losses.

This program is for people who prefer to work one-on-one rather than in a group setting. The 7-session format utilizes the same proven materials as the group programs and can be completed in-person with a Grief Recovery Method Specialist specifically trained to help people move through loss with dignity and respect.
Our support groups offer a safe, evidence-based environment for grievers to take effective and lasting action, no matter the type of loss experienced. These groups are led by Grief Recovery Method Specialists, trained and certified by the Grief Recovery Institute.
