I am David Maywhoor, I was trained in 2013 by Lois Hall. I have long held that the grief process is a convoluted and mysterious journey. I was fortunate to have been trained to be a GRM Specialist at a time when I was in great pain after the loss of my wife. Left behind were our 3 daughters (13, 15 and 17) and me all mixed in a pile of grief. The GRM training helped me focus on and complete my journey with other people in my life who had passed on. I have a place in my heart for people who are lost inside their grief and want a way to rediscover themselves.
Our support groups offer a safe, evidence-based environment for grievers to take effective and lasting action, no matter the type of loss experienced. These groups are led by Grief Recovery Method Specialists, trained and certified by the Grief Recovery Institute.
This program is for people who prefer to work one-on-one rather than in a group setting. The 7-session format utilizes the same proven materials as the group programs and can be completed in-person with a Grief Recovery Method Specialist specifically trained to help people move through loss with dignity and respect.
