My journey with grief began early in childhood as the dependent child in a military family. I didn't know that this was grief but boy was it! Everytime I moved I left friends, schools, favorite teachers, home, belongings, church, and places I liked to play. The problem was that I was never given any tools to process all of this grief nor was it even thought of as loss in my family - it was just life.
When my brother died in 1993 I was lost. I made myself the victim of this loss for almost 10 years - again not having found the proper tools to take the action steps to heal my grief.
When I found the Grief Recovery Method I was able to go back and finally clean and clear all of these losses!
I life that I had accepted as "normal" with a certain melancholy was no longer acceptable and this is my mission to bring this work to everyone as we know 100% of us are grievers!!
My career has been in Professional Training and Development in the corporate environment. I believe the Grief Recovery Method should be in every workplace to meet the pronounced need for mental and emotional health wellness offerings for employees. The life and communication skills gained through this educational program are so valuable in the workplace. If we could all clean and clear some grief in our life our interpersonal relationships look better and create more coherent team dynamics.
I provide services in St. Petersburg, FL. and work online online with one-on-one Grief Recovery Method, and Grief Recovery Method group, Pet Loss, and in person group Grief Recovery Method clasess. I specialize in loss to suicide.

This program is for people who prefer to work one-on-one rather than in a group setting. The 7-session format utilizes the same proven materials as the group programs and can be completed in-person or online with a Grief Recovery Method Specialist specifically trained to help people move through loss with dignity and respect.
Our support groups offer a safe, evidence-based environment for grievers to take effective and lasting action, no matter the type of loss experienced. These groups are led by Grief Recovery Method Specialists, trained and certified by the Grief Recovery Institute.
The loss of a pet can be emotionally devastating. Sadly, the impact of the heartbreak of this type of loss is often downplayed or ignored by friends and family. This 6-meeting program is focused on offering pet owners an effective mechanism for taking action to move through and beyond their grief.
