Heather knows the program well and committed to the principles of total honesty, sharing her experience as appropriate when introducing new topics and exercises. It was comfortable (even while uncomfortable) to share in the group and I felt safe. She demonstrated one skill particularly well: asking questions to allow a griever to get out what they need to without leading them or judging or analyzing.

It encouraged me to recount the experience of the loss of contact with a child and allow me to express my feelings and write a letter to finally withdraw from any lingering grief from that loss.
