I have had emotional baggage around my father my whole life.It was compounded after he died 9 years ago. I did not attend this class because of him because I had just lost my Mother. The whole methodical process led me to choose my Father. A very large boulder was removed from my backpack and I received the gift of recovering from unmet expectations, unfulfilled wishes, and unresolved grief that i had for my Father. The relief is palpable. I have closure now.

Talking and working with Olivia made a very difficult situation a lot easier to work through. I was initially reluctant as you would expect, but after the first session with a friendly, empathetic person I felt much better about continuing with the program to its conclusion. I am glad that I did, and that I was recommended to Olivia by a friend.

They both were very helpful in helping me understand how to use the tools and to be a heart with ears. The tools they showed us will be helpful for any other resolved grief that I may still have.

This is been , the most pleasurable experience throughout the GRM that I’ve had with facilitators. I completed this course eight weeks 3 to 4 times and I’m not online GRM facilitator training course. This was the most open honest and vulnerable. I’ve been throughout the process ever. This Environment was set by the facilitators.

The Grief Recovery Method was transformative for me. I came away with a feeling of my heart being literally lightened. The steps really do work if you put in the intense work - I couldn't believe what I was able to accomplish in eight weeks. I feel I now have a valuable tool with which to work through other grief areas. I highly recommended the program to anyone struggling with grief.

Lori was a great facilitator and I learned so much from her. It was very helpful in navigating my past grief and letting go of some things that I didn't even know I was holding onto.

Lori Hayes is an outstanding facilitator. She has the ability to hold solid space for a group and make it feel safe right from the start. Lori set expectations and upheld boundaries during the program. She also made herself available to answer questions we had in between sessions. I would absolutely recommend Lori and this program to any friends who are interested in grief recovery.

Very helpful in walking us through the process, giving examples, clear answers and asking good questions to have participants engage. Wonderful communicator and empathetic facilitator.

Jennifer made going to those deep, dark, painful, and sometimes unbearable places more bearable. She led this rigorous program beautifully, gracefully, and professionally. She was always willing to answer questions regarding homework assignments or readings we had to do. She was always readily available in between meetings in case we were stumped on something related to the weekly tasks. She was respectful, professional, kind, empathetic, an amazing listening ear. Her own experiences and gifts make her the perfect person to lead this program. She always made eye contact with participants and practiced empathy. She made participants feel safe, seen, heard, and validated.

I believe it is critical to have a facilitator that you can trust; honestly, I don't know how I could have made through this journey without Jennifer "by my side" (these sessions were online). I'm so thankful for this opportunity and now have the tools to move forward.

My facilitator, Kathryn Ross, was easy to talk to. She provided the services I needed in a confident and caring manner. She is indeed a heart with ears.
