Testimonials For Support Groups
Much of what I stated above, the program was phenomenal, but I attribute it to having Sherri as the Coach. She is such a naturally gifted leader and speaker. She is calm, collected, organized & extremely empathic, soft-spoken and quite a leader and listener. The level of compassion and knowledge she exhibits is exemplary and I highly recommend her program to any and all that struggle with incomplete grief, loss and betrayal. Many times, I was stuck on a concept, a feeling and an assignment, but she graciously walked me through it, assuring me I can feel comfortable and safe completely the written, graphs of the particular chapter. Knowing that she always understood and was patient with me during this process and the struggles I was having emotionally, her gentle yet confident assurance and belief on me truly warmed my soul.

Kara was very open and honest about our group being her first class. She shared her trying times with us which opened the full communication highway for us to do the same. It is hard as an adult to come to terms with the emotional upheavals we face daily. We are taught to be brave, keep going, and always say "I am fine" when you are truly feeling anything but fine. Kara approach of "be real, be true to yourself" is refreshing and your course allows that to happen when you fully do all of the work.

It has helped me look at grief in a different way. By having a better understanding of it, it has helped me with the healing process and given me resources to help with future grief/loss that is inevitable.

Krystle did an excellent job being encouraging, guiding, and empathetic, while upholding the program model. Even though all our losses were not the same, she respected that the grief of loss was. She led us well.

Debbie Melnyk kept the room very positive and directed us to what we needed to accomplish by the next week. She also gave us plenty of time for questions and sharing. I really felt her strength, after going thru her loss.

It was amazing for me that it shared with me how to look at things and how your journey does not define you . the freeness and release you feel is truly an experience.

She forewarned us that some of the information we discovered, especially when we were doing the Loss History Graph, The Relationship Graph, and The Completion Letter may stir up feelings we had put aside or locked away for years. She was right, but she was there to help us through. She told us we were not there to judge nor fix an issue or a person, not even ourselves and that gave me the courage to keep going. I think there are a few more people I may need to work on a Relationship Graph and a Completion Letter. I felt much better and freer after my first one.
