Testimonials For Support Groups
Vicki was truly a great facilitator. The nest at what she does. Very safe to be with and talk to. Her experience/professionalism was outstanding, and so were her listening skills. Very loyal and trustworthy. It’s a blessing to have her on this team.

Debbie was such a kind and good facilitator. She was an excellent example of how one listens. I learned a lot just by watching how she listened to others in my group and validated their feelings. Of course, I was much too emotional and involved in my own story when it was time to share to realise how she behaved (with the same kindness as she displayed for the others) towards me, but when I would look back and internalize the sessions later on that evening, I would remember that she made me feel validated, "normal" (I hate that word!), she didn't judge me, she was kind and respectful.

The program facilitator taught me how to find closure, and now I have the tools to find closure with other relatives who have died.

My facilitator guided the discussion and listened to key statements that brought out what I needed to process. I’m sure I wouldn’t have been able to do that on my own. His listening skills and interest in my story was the key to processing the loss.

Mr. Cearley is a blessing to me. He has helped me work through some of the hardest memories/traumas and now I know how to say goodbye and live my life without looking back at those experiences.

Michelle is an outstanding facilitator for this method. She is thorough, thoughtful and compassionate in her approach. I felt a unique bonding with her because she helped me feel comfortable and trusting that she understood what I was experiencing. I am so grateful for the Grief Recovery Method. I have recommended it to many others who are going through grief.

Kathleen Fowler is a wonderful, kind instructor. I am so grateful I took this course. The guy that began the class was not the same guy who finished.

This course has been amazing in helping me deal with my grief. After completing each homework assignment, I couldn't wait to have my next class. I could see there was going to be positive recovery for me once I was through it. In fact after one of my homework assignments I felt a ton of stress leave my body. It was truly like a weight was picked up and removed from my shoulder. I believe God led Denise to me for this recovery.

Ray was leading this group for the fist time and did an amazing job. She was always thoughtful and helped us to listen to each other in a new ways. She modeled the methods carefully and lovingly so that we could really understand how to implement them.

Their willingness to be vulnerable and open allowed me the freedom to be the same. The emphasis on confidentiality and respect is very important in a small community and they made me feel it was safe to speak my truth.

The facilitators were respectful, warm, kind, emotionally intelligent and they made the experience much more fun than I would have anticipated. They were able to be vulnerable when needed whilst also holding space for my experiences.
